Biblioscape User Community

Recently, when working in Biblioscape 6.7, I get the following error message:

"Cannot create file: c:\Program Files\Biblioscape6\temp\mainCitRTF.rtf."

What does this mean, and how do I get rid of it?

I am trying to format a document that has many images.

When Winword tries to save it in rtf format it hangs forever and eventually says
document cannot be saved (any version of winword, up to Winword 2007).

Is there any way to prevent Biblioscape from saving in rtf format?

Rtf format cannot handle images well, this is a well known problem: does this mean that
Biblioscape cannot be used when your paper has images?

I can't format a manuscript...checked for spurious [] etc, restored database (no corruption), removed objects inserted in text all to no avail. Downloaded patches also. What can I do?

Hi All

I have made some notes for each reference in the notes sections (not the notes module), critiquing the paper and some other analysis.

I would just like to print out , the reference say in Harvard format at the top of the page , with the attached notes underneath it , so can have a hard copy to read.

How do I go about this ?

I want to search in the abstract field with the word which may have variables, eg, "XML", "xml", "Xml". It seems case insensitive search can work in the title field, but it cannot work in the abstract field!

Could someone please advise me as to which combination of export/import options is best for exporting Zotero references into Biblioscape (6.x in my case)?

Zotero's export options (under "Export Library...") include BibTex, Endnote, and RIS, plus a few other formats that Biblioscape doesn't seem to support.

Biblioscape's import options include BibTex, 2 versions of Endnote, and 4 versions of RIS.

Which export/import options do you recommend so that I can get references from Zotero into Biblioscape with the least amount of corruption, mis-matched fields, etc.? Thanks!

Issue: Entering essays by different authors contained in an edited book.

Problem: I have to re-enter the book title, editor name, publisher, city, date, etc. for the book for every reference I create

Wish: I want to be able to create a new reference based on an existing reference. The new reference will contain all of the old reference's information, and I will change only the information that is different.

There is a problem in "rebuild database" moudle!
Each time I rebuild database, I are told "no corruption is found in your database",
then a Building Box show the progress the Reading/Writing.
When the "Writing" thermometer is at about 20%, a alert appears:"Field 'rbWord' must have a value"! , I hava to successively select "OK", "Cancel" twice, "Close", since the BS would't give any respondence.
