I ask because I have now worked out my category schema and want to implement it but I am a bit uncertain how to do so.

Gary, we can discuss the use of categories on the forum. I think online manual is better than offline manual because user can ask questions, tell their use scenarios, etc. You can let us know how do you plan to use the categories. Thanks.
