Something I have noticed in the References main screen is that when I type the first few characters of an author last name the list will pane will focus on the first matching entry, however, the formatted preview does not update until I press the up and down arrow keys.

To duplicate:

1) Go to references module

2) Use keyboard to type first few characters of an author last name

3) Note that the highlight is on the first match for what you typed

4) Note that the formatted preview in the bottom of the screen does not show the correct output (it did so in v6)

Second problem (which is true in v6 and v7):

If I type a few characters of an author name as described above, then wait a few seconds, and then type a few more characters for a different last name, the highlight does not move to the second selections.

To duplicate:

1) Go to references module 

2) Type a few characters of an author last name -- the highlight goes to the first match

3) Wait several seconds and type a few characters for another last name -- nothing happens

I suspect that what is happening is that during that few seconds of pause, the keyboard buffer is not being flushed.
