Paul,
I got the production version of bibilioscape 7.x purchased recently. Thank you!!
You had helped me understand the tertiary authors and the use of {} to put the dept information etc. As I mentioned in my earlier mails, I am importing data from Procite . And Procite authors store the role/dept information with = in front of the dept information. When Procite creates a pos to import it to bibilioscape,It doesnot have = anymore ( it prints without =) and hence cannot use the replace feature of bibiliscape import filter. How can this be sucessfully imported into Bibilioscape? I would appreciate if you can respond back at the earliest.
Thank you!!
How to put braces to consider the data as author role?
I figured out a way to fix this. I am trying to import the data using csv format.
So now I have a csv file from Procite with the Tertiary author field value as
Araoz, PA = R-D - Rochester; Harmsen, WS = Bios - Rochester; Mandrekar, JN = HSR - Rochester
What I now need to do change the values to
Araoz, PA { R-D - Rochester}; Harmsen, WS { Bios - Rochester}; Mandrekar, JN { HSR - Rochester}
How can I do this? I am not very familiar with regular expression. Any help will be appreciated.
Thanks
Beena
Is the text "Araoz, PA = R-D
Is the text "Araoz, PA = R-D - Rochester; Harmsen, WS = Bios - Rochester; Mandrekar, JN = HSR - Rochester" already imported to Biblioscape or you are trying to prepare the file for import? I think keeping the dept info is not useful.
