I have recently trying to work with biblioscape 7 and later biblioscape 6 out of my pendrive on a windows vista machine and unfortunately I LOST my whole database. I was having trouble in finding my references. Clicking on the folders simply did not retrieve them. I then tried to rebuild the database and when I did that the whole database was gone. I could not find it anywhere. I had to close the application using windows task manager. Could you please offer some advice on working with windows vista? (I do keep a backup of my biblioscape 6 database). Thank you.
On Vista, please run
On Vista, please run Biblioscape 7 instead of 6. Here is the installation tip http://support.biblioscape.com/installation. You have to know where is your database located. You can go to menu command "File | Database | Open Database" to open it.
