I create a new note, type some text and decide I want to link a reference to this note. I click on "Add Link" and select Reference. In the dialog box, I can select a reference folder from which to choose the reference I want to link. But the references within the folder seem to be sorted by Reference ID by default, and clicking on the Author heading doesn't change the sorting. It would be good to have this option available, as it is in the References module.
Also, the menu to select a note type (research note, seminar note, etc.) seems to pop up only while the mouse button is depressed; and to get the "Add Link" command to work, it is necessary to click on the arrow to the right of the icon (to choose whether you want to link to a reference, to another note, etc.). These interface quirks appear inconsistent with each other and with the rest of Biblioscape. I think it would be better for usability if both menus popped up when the icon is clicked.
The reference list will be
The reference list will be sorted in the add link window in version 7.13. The note type combobox has an image for each item, it is handled differently from regular combobox. Thanks.

OK, thanks Paul! I would still suggest you make the "Add Link" button respond to a single click. At the moment, the behaviour of this button seems to be different depending on whether you are adding a link from a reference to a note, or from a note to a reference.

Dennis, we will try to make the "Add Link" button behave like you suggested in 7.13. Thanks.
