Hi Scott,
I found the upgrade very easy. Back up your V6 database just in case. Download and install the V7 software and the latest patch. Start Biblioscape 7 and tell it to open your V6 database. The program will then convert it to the new database format. Personally, I encountered no problems. The way folders are handled is different in V7, but all your old folders will be preserved in a family of categories called "Old Folders".
It may be a good idea to wait with the upgrade until the next patch comes out; you can see from other threads that some bugs are being fixed at the moment.

You don't have to purcahse
You don't have to purcahse minor upgrades (7.0 to 7.x). We only charge for major upgrades (7.x to 8.x).
