Program locks up when creating new reference from search folder

Using a folder that contains saved searches, (in this case, the folder has searches for various Authors) select one of the references.
Either from that reference, or from the search folder itself, choose "New Reference."
Biblioscape locks up and Window's Task Manager has to be used to close the Program.
This does not happen if at step 1, the focus is first shifted from the opened reference or the search folder, to proper reference folder (as opposed to a saved search folder).

Hi Robert,

I read your post as I am having the same problem (version 6). I am unsure what you are referring to as a 'proper reference'. Can you explain in further detail? Thanks.

There was a problem with my index file in my database that Paul has fixed. I am no longer having that problem.

I cannot reproduce the bug

I cannot reproduce the bug described. The problem could be caused by a corrupted index. You can fix that by go to "File | Database | Rebuild Database". Thanks.

I have just tried to "rebuild database" but get the following error message: "DSISAM Engine Error #11013 Access denied...". Any thoughts?

Please make sure BiblioWeb

Please make sure BiblioWeb is not running. You can quit Biblioscape and run "...\Biblioscape x\Tools\Rebuild.exe" and click the "Rebuild Database" button.
