Hello Paul,
I would like to attach pdf's or other docs to references and make sure it is compatible across computers (like relative/absolute path).
What is the best solution to do this? Should I create a folder where .bsl resides? Say in one computer I have biblioscape database in H drive while in other it is in D drive. How to avoid any conflicts.
Thanks,
drb
Attachment Subfolders
I understand that in order to maintain relative path I can file my attachments in the "attachment folder" Can I make subfolders within the attachment folders and still retain relative path? I work with a lot of pdfs and it would be make sense to me to arrange pdfs by project folders within the "attachment folder" as well as maintain connections within biblioscape.
Please advise
Yes, having sub-folders
Yes, having sub-folders under the "attachment" folder will work.
If you make a folder called
If you make a folder called "attachments" within the database folder the paths will be relative.
Is there any way to globally
Is there any way to globally edit the attachment pathway if one hasn't had the foresight when setting up on different computers?

You can go to "Edit |
You can go to "Edit | Replace" to do that. Please don't forget to limit the replacement to "Attachment" field only.
