I have been using Biblioscape version 5.4 for some years and I am quite happy with it, I import lots of references from pubmed, so now that I need a new filter I find that I cannot import the updated one as it doesn't work with my version of biblioscape. I guess the best option would be to upgrade to the latest version, so my question is which are the things which I am supposed to do to upgrade succesfully (and safely for my database!).

PubMed changed their display format recently. There is an updated import fiters at http://support.biblioscape.com/node/38 for Biblioscape 6 and 7.
