Hi Paul,
I'm experiecing the following problem with B7 Beta:
1. I converted my B6 Database to B7 (worked fine).
2. B7 kept my 2 old folders from B6: "central" (where I've put all my records, since now I'm going to handle my references with categories), and "BiblioPalm" (all records synchronized with Bibliopalm).
3. I deleted the "central" folder and kept only the "bibliopalm" folder.
4. At the window "old folders" I deleted "central", too.
5. I created new categories, but each time I assign one category to one reference/note/task, it shows at the bottom (undelined in blue) the name of the category which I assigned AND the name of the old and deleted folder "central".
6. When I open the "Old Folders" window, "central" is not there anymore.
7. I closed, rebuilt and reopened the database, the problem persists.
8. How can "central" definitely disappear from my database?
Thanks, Milene
I believe this problem is
I believe this problem is caused by a bug that is fixed in the next release.
Not working
Hi Paul,
When I open a category, the references/notes which are assigned to it don't show up.
When I open a reference, the category to which it is assigned doesn't show up on the right panel "categories", but in the window Reference/User Defined, I can see the name of the category in the field "category", AND the name of the old folder from B6 (which I have already deleted).
It looks like: _central_;_Handelsplätze_
where: _central_ is the long ago deleted folder from B6
_Handelsplätze_ is the new category
Thanks, Milene
It looks like there is a
It looks like there is a space missing, it should be "_central_; _Handelsplätze_". Please double check. Thanks.
I typed it wrong
I typed it wrong, the space is there.
The fact is: "central" should not be there, I deleted it long ago. I'll wait the next release to see if the bug is fixed.
Thanks, Milene
