Hello Paul,
I sent you a fax 4 days ago from Canada. Hope you got it. And also email was sent. Guess you are over loaded with development and support tickets.
Anyway, if you don't mind:
1. If I make a purchase now, am I getting v6. Right? then when you release v7, i get that upgrade for FREE? or should I pay for upgrade? Because in one of the topic you said, v7 was free for anybody buying after 2006-01-01, while in your main homepage it says
Which is true? will i get v7 free upgrade if buy v6 now?
2. for pro version, I would like to grant access to another person via web. How can I do that? Or should i buy librarian version. I have my own site with all php, etc so hosting biblioscape database remotely is easy. But not sure what requirements are and also how to do it.
thanks
drb
There may be something wrong
There may be something wrong with the email. I remember I have answered these by email. 1. Yes, all customers who purchased after 2006-01-01 will get version 7 as a free upgrade. Because v7 was originally planned for 2006. 2. To let others access your database via web browser, you have to have BiblioWeb running. BiblioWeb will run on any Windows computer.
Just to fill out slightly on
Just to fill out slightly on what Paul says about BiblioWeb: It's very straightforward. When you install it, the server will automatically pick a port that isn't used by your current http server, so that you can have it running on your machine side-by-side with any other servers. It's very robust with a lot of function built in (including document formatting) and, in my experience, users find it easy to use.
