Hi Paul,
I formatted the temporary citations in a chapter of my dissertation to give it to an advisor to read, then, without thinking about it, started making revisions to that version of the document. Early in the process I ran "unformat manuscript," which seemed to work fine. It was only a few hours later that I realized that in the process of unformatting the manuscript all my page numbers were removed from the temporary citations. I enter pages # like this: [author, year @page #reference number]. I went back to a version of the chapter that was not formatted and worked backwards to apply all my revisions to that version, so I did not lose information, but it did cost me most of a morning's labor. Is this a known problem with unformatting citations, or am I doing something wrong?
Thanks,
matt
Matt, unformatting should
Matt, unformatting should not touch the page number. Please email me the documents before and after the unformatting. I will take a look. Thanks.
