Paul, I've been thinking a lot about how to best utilize the power of biblioscape for improving my work process. One thing I've recently "discovered" is that I save many mouse clicks if I make sure I embed temporary citations in my notes instead of using links for that purpose. I know, this is probably pretty obvious. It occured to me, however, that the power of doing this could be multiplied if temporary citations could become hyperlinks to the references from which they were created. What would be extra cool is if this hyperlink could be maintained when the note was copied into a wordprocessing program. This would mean that a document itself would be integrated with biblioscape in critical ways until the citations were formatted. This would be powerful, indeed. Obviously, these are ideas for down the road. I am anxiously awaiting the next version of BS7 best wishes, matt
Matt, that's a very good
Matt, that's a very good suggestion. We plan to add more hyperlink supports in future releases including temp citation, folder, search folder, etc. Another useful feature is to add bookmark support in notes, so a hperlink can lead to a specific part of a note. Thanks.
Glad you thought so. I was
Glad you thought so. I was playing with BS 7 and realized that the reference panel within the notes module works like sidekick. Being able to drop temporary citations right into notes like that is very, very cool. Nice work.
