We will add this in 7.x release.

The name can not be changed. Biblioscape needs the first letter to write to the database. If you want to assing a color to an user customizable name, please use colored category.

>3. In a previous discussion about B7A2 you suggested adding a "Link Preview" tab on the right tabs pane (so that we can see the linked record without moving to another module or opening the record, no edit necessary - opening with double click possible?). Still thinking about implementing it?

Adding it to the right tabs will be confusing. If we do implement it, I prefer to have a preview button in the linked records grid. Clicking on that button will make Biblioscape to generate a read-only link record and show it in a drop down box.

>4. Add a button "Save and create duplicate" in the single reference window (B6 has it).

Will be done.

>5. Add a "save and create duplicate" button also in the notes module. I explain: sometimes I use "templates" (with tables, for instance), or I want to have different notes with different comments to one same quotation, etc.

Notes template support will be added in future release.

>6. When I create a new record (ref/note/task) or open an existing one I always have to resize (maximize) the window. Could B7 "remember" the size of the window I prefer?

They do remember last used size and position. May be this feature was added after your download.

>7. When I create a new record (reference), B7 doesn't remember the reference type of the previous record, as B6 does (very useful).

This feature is added back.

8. I would like to customize the "task status". Could you make the file available?

Usually task status doesn't need customization. Could you let me know how do you want to customize it?
