Paul,
I keep losing my work when I am typing. There have been several times when typing up notes in the notes module or in the Document module that while typing I have (out of habit) hit the cntrl I for Italics. This opens the format document dialogue box and when I cancel all of my typing is gone from the database. The reference info is still there, but the recent typing that I had done is gone! Undo doesn't work either.
I am not sure how to prevent this from happening without hitting "save reference" but then I have to re-open the reference.

Why they spam ...
Hi Pastor Jay & Paul
According to Leo Laporte ("The Tech Guy"), the reason why spammers hit the forums is to post a lot of links so that they can move up the rankings with google. They only have to be on the site enough time for google search robots catch the spammer's link. So, they are not expecting us forum uses to go to their links, they simply want to have the links all over the forum. What was strange about the latest spammer is at first s/he did not post links until a few days later.
Well, back to the more important stuff that this forum is for! :)
Cheers!

Ctrl+I is assigned to
Ctrl+I is assigned to import. Since the data is not saved while typing, it is lost when the program goes to import window. In future release, we may change the Import shortcut.
Good idea
Paul,
It would be a good idea to remove shortcut functions from the usual word-processing combinations of Ctrl+I, Ctrl+B, etc. Most users of Biblioscape will have a lot of word-processing experience and use these combinations habitually.
Is it possible in Biblioscape 7 to customise shortcuts?

In Biblioscape 7, we will remove Ctrl+I, Ctrl+B, etc. But, shortcuts can not be customized.
thank you
in the meantime I will try not to hit those buttons. - :-) Jay
