I find the smart collections extremely useful for my work, but have not found a way to order, alphabetize, them, other than by hand, one by one.
Help would be appreciated
I have a number of smart collections as well. I have found that by clicking on the top heading bar (top of column - contains word project) that it sorts all the folders/sub-folders alphabetically -- descending on one click and ascending on the next, etc -- there is a feint indicator arrow head to the right of the word project to indicate which sort order is currently in place.

Hold down the Ctrl key and
Hold down the Ctrl key and clicking on the column header will remove all the sorting if needed.
