Couple of error messages

Paul,

I have two databases (personal and at the university; BS 9.0.9.9), and have, unfortunately, problems with both.

A. The personal database:
After having opened the database, the following error messages appear. This happens often, but especially after I have copied the database to another computer or network and opened it there (network connection is too slow - that's why):
1. #6021 The table is corrupt (invalid index page number specified for retrieval from cache)
2. Access violation at address 004E029F in module "Biblioscape.exe". Read of address 00000008.
3. [the same, now with] 0044E893 and 00000028.
4. Exception EAccessViolation in module "Biblioscape.exe" at 003022E8. Access violation at address 007022E8 in module "Biblioscape.exe. Read of address 00000070.
5. [the same, now with] 00004C02, 00404C02, 0343D100.

After these error messages. I repaired the database, quit it, restarted it, and everything was o.k.

However, when trying to optimize the database, the following error message pops up:
#1004. The primary key constraint PrimaryKey for the table jn_x has been violated ...

B. The office database:
Either a whole bunch of error messages like those above appear, or the following appears when trying to search:
Error #601 The table category is corrupt (invalid index page number specified for retrieval from cache).

This could be the reason that working with categories is insecure: When using the left pane for categories, other references appear than when using the right pane. Sometimes references simply disappear after having dragged them into a category.

By the way, this also occurs in my private database.

What can I do? Thanks!

Cor

Can you zip all the files

Can you zip all the files under your database folder and email me the zip? In the email, please let me know the detailed steps to reproduce the categories bug. Thanks, Paul
