I'm trying to export all of the references in our database as a tab-delimited file so that I can import them into Excel; however, I don't seem to be able to export the "Abstract" field or the "Reference Folder" field. Is there any way to do this? I'm using version 6.1. Will version 7 allow me to do what I'm looking to do? And if so, if I download the beta version of 7, can I keep version 6.1 installed at the same time? I'm definitely not a "hard core" user, so I'm a bit scared to download the beta version for fear of corrupting our current database.

Stacy, the delimited export in version 6 can't include the two fields you mentioned. In version 7, it is possible to do both. If you are not hardcore, it is better to wait. Running an alpha version is not for most people. I moved your post to "Import and export" forum.
