Sometimes users may need to type an en dash (–) instead of a hypen (-) between page numbers. This can be done by holding down the Alt key and type 0150 using the numbers pad on the right. Using the number keys at the top of your keyboard won't work. This is a standard way of typing special characters on a Windows computer. For example to type an Euro monetary symbol (€), you can hold down the Alt key and type 0128 using the numbers pad on the right. For a complete list of all the special characters you can type using this method, please visit http://homepages.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~george/ansi_ascii_character_chart.html.
