Docouments closed and corrupted: Query_journalName: Cannot perform this operation on a closed dataset

I've been receiving the following error message every time I try to format a document: "Query_journalName: Cannot perform this operation on a closed dataset." After I receive the message, the document disappears from Word, leaving a RTF, temp, and .doc file in the folder. Once this happens, the only way to fix things is to either reinstall Biblioscape or remove all hidden text from the document and start over with inserting references. I've lost hours of work this way. Sometimes, I'll get a paragraph of ###############s inserted into the document.
I've tried to identify a pattern. I think this tends to happen after I've made changes to styles and then inserted additional references into a document. In any case, please help!

Please let me know which

Please let me know which style was used. If it is a custom style, please export the style and email it to me. I may also need to get the document if I cannot reproduce it with the style. I am sorry about the time you lost. I have a good news. Biblioscape version 10 will no longer need to use RTF format when formatting a document. The kind of problem you had will be elminated. If you like, send me an email. I will let you download a beta release. It can open your old database. The new Word integration is the best on the market.

Well, this is great news. I

Well, this is great news. I have always had many problems because of the RTF transformation format. I got used to deal with this when formatting documents but this is really a waste of time. For example, reinserting figures to avoid lost of resolution, reinserting formulas, reinserting graphs and smart-arts, amongst others. I mean, no big trouble because I do this just for the very final version of each manuscript but a waste of time anyway. Two questions:

  1. When could I buy a licence for Biblioscape vs. 10?
  2. Will you guys consider for Biblioscape vs. 10 a new kind of licence between standard and professional? I mean for instance without the Web Users (30) option. I never use the web options and neither do many of my fellows.

Hi,
Any comment for the second question:

Will you guys consider for Biblioscape vs. 10 a new kind of licence between standard and professional? I mean for instance without the Web Users (30) option. I never use the web options and neither do many of my fellows, not mentioning my students. For personal use this will be quite helpful.

We are unlikely to make this

We are unlikely to make this kind changes. For personal use, the Standard edition should be OK.
