Store/transfer/modify database via flash drive?

So, here's what I would like to do:

  1. Have Biblioscape installed on, for example, a desktop and a laptop
  2. Put my database from the desktop on a USB flash drive
  3. Open and edit that same database, from the flash drive, on my laptop
  4. Copy the now modified databse from my flash drive back to my desktop

Is this possible?  If so, do I need to copy the *.bsl file and all of the support files, or just the *.bsl file?

So, does this mean I can run biblioscape from a flashdrive?

 I have everything stored under a root directory on C: and then I just copied it all to my flash. If I go to another computer - will I need to have Biblioscape loaded there. When I make changes is there something I need to watch for (possible errors or misfile problems?)

Also, when returning to main computer is it safe to completely copy over old info and drive or sync or....

Yes, you can run it from the

Yes, you can run it from the flash drive. But the flash drive may get a different drive letter on the other PC, you have to go to "File | Database | Open Database" to open the database on your flash drive.
