Footnote Font Properties

Paul, I am not being able to find the settings for footnote font. It's shooting a different type of font and format in Word. I always have to format it after shooting; I remember that earlier I did not have this problem.

When it shoots footnote, it

When it shoots footnote, it will use the default font in your Word document. If you have used another font, you can insert the footnote is Word, then in Biblioscape choose "Shoot Temporary". It will use whatever the font where the current cursor is in Word.

Even when I set the default

Even when I set the default font in Word, "Shoot Temporary" will override it. I even tried setting default font for all documents but to no avail. "Shoot Temporary" will not only override it but will set a hard space (Enter) in the process.

Shoot Temporary will not

Shoot Temporary will not add a hard return. It should follow the fond at the Word cursor position. Which version of Biblioscape and Word are you using? Can anyone else reproduce the problem?

I tried another computer and

I tried another computer and there was no problem. So this problem is machine-related. Will work on it, thanks.

By the way, how can I put

By the way, how can I put footnotes (not only for references) in biblioscape? Specifically, is it possible to put a detailed explanation in footnote?

You can create a footnote in

You can create a footnote in Word, add your note there. Then go to Biblioscape and chose "Edit | Shoot | Shoot Temporary". Biblioscape will put the temporary citation into the footnote where the cursor is. When you are ready to format the document, select a style that supports footnote. Those styles have a name start with "*". They are listed in the top. These styles will generate both the footnote and a bibliography in the end of document.

In order to improve the

In order to improve the funcionality of Biblioscape, I suggest that you add two important resources in modules like notes and composition: footnotes and equation editor. Your product is one of the most useful for me by now. And I know your effort to succeed this excellent program. I hope you put these tools in Biblioscape.

In the next major release,

In the next major release, we will try to improve these areas. You can use MS equation editor as an OLE object in Biblioscape. Open a note and go to "Insert | Object" and select "Microsoft Equation X". Double click the OLE object added and edit your equation. This won't work if you don't have MS Word installed.

Thanks for the tip. However,

Thanks for the tip. However, Microsoft Equation as OLE object seems problematic in Biblioscape. The frame doesn't appear and so, it is impossible to see where the equation will stand. I hope you offer some patch to fix this. Thanks again.
