I am using the 'rich text' section of each references as my notes section relating to that particular reference. By this way I can know the salient points from that paper by clicking rich text of that particular reference rather than read the whole paper again.
Help please...
1. Am i best using the rich text for my purpose? or are there any other module or sections to use?
2. If my above method is ok, then how can I search rich text section alone of each references and quickly pull up the reference?

1. The notes module is designed for note taking. Having each note as a separate entity make organizing (with categories) easier, searching more accurate, and re-using possible.
2. The Fast Search will find text in your rich text field.
