Is it possible to have two separate active libraries (both mine) that can be accessible through the same BiblioWeb portal or do I need to purchase and install separate Biblioscape programs on the same server for each library?

Bill Kelly

You can create another
You can create another folder under Biblioscape and call it "BiblioWeb2". Copy everything from "BiblioWeb" to "BiblioWeb2". Rename "BiblioWeb.exe" to "BiblioWeb2.exe" under the "BiblioWeb2" folder. Run BiblioWeb2.exe and change the settings.
Re: Accessing two separate libraries through BiblioWeb
When I open in Biblioscape one of the databases I wish to serve via one of the copies of BiblioWeb and select the fields to hide, it saves the settings in the "web_post_hide" text file in the "global" folder under my Biblioscape directory and then applies the settings to any database I try to serve via either of the copies of BiblioWeb. Is there a way to define a different set of web post hide fields for each of the BiblioWeb databases?
Thanks,
Ben
Sorry, that is not possible.
Sorry, that is not possible.
Licensing Arrangement on the 2nd copy of BiblioWeb?
Would an additional license need to be purchased to host the 2nd BiblioWeb database?
Not on the same machine
Not on the same machine because the hits and users are counted from both sessions.
