I am running the latest version with the latest update. I have noticed this several times and finally figured out when it happens.
I am able to duplicate this. Biblioscape hangs up - no response to mouse clicks. Had to close using task manager to close the program.
This is what I did:
Have PDF of the reference open in preview panel. Then on the right, use online search to search for references in PubMed. It brings up a new for telling me about references - then hangs up. Sometimes, it closes that window by itself and then hangs up.
When I am in the live preview tab (not pdf), then everything works fine.
There is no error message.
NOTE: sometimes, if there reference exists in online search results, it hangs up whether I am in live preview or pdf tab. Confused.

I cannot reproduce this. I tried displaying a PDF in the preview panel. I searched the Pub and got some hits. But Biblioscape didn't freeze. You can zip all the files under your database folder and email me the zip. Please let me kn ow which record to do the preview and what search term is used for PubMed. I will try to reproduce it with your database. Thanks, Paul
