Folder name for note being edited is not static

I'm running up against a rough edge with the Save feature when editing notes.

When using either Ctrl-S or the Save button to save a note I am working on (without closing the note), Biblioscape shifts its focus to the lower left border of the screen, where the name of the note folder and its reference number are listed (although that information is partially concealed). At this point that normally grey-backgrounded information becomes an active list of available note folders, with one name shown at a time in the box.

The problem is that in this state, the mouse wheel scrolls the folder list, and I use the mouse wheel a lot when writing and editing. That this is happening is not apparent to a user who has his focus on the text. The next time the note is saved, it gets saved to the wrong folder! The user does not know this is happening! Consequently, I just found that I have notes scattered in places where they don't belong, and I have multiple copies of some notes -- in various stages of completion -- in several folders.

Proposed solution: (1) Biblioscape should not change the keyboard or mouse focus from the task the user is working on. (2) If it is necessary for Biblioscape to do that because of its inner workings, the focus should be immediately and seemlessly returned to the user's focus when the save is completed, and in the meantime the user should get an hourglass, with any attempted input nulled. (3) The folder for material that a user is working on should not be changed unless the user moves a closed note, using the tree.

In the next patch release,

In the next patch release, the focus will be shift back to the editor after saving. Thanks, Paul
