I try to collect a reference via direct export. It seems to work. That is to say when biblioscape is not running it is automaticaly started when I operate the direct export in the browser.
But I cannot find te record in Biblioscape. Where is it stored?

If your browser and Biblioscape are both set-up correctly, the direct export should appear in the last reference folder you had open in Biblioscape (regardless of whether or not Biblioscape is currently running).
I and others have found the set-up to be tricky in some cases, and the particulars are dependent on the browser you are using. This thread may be helpful: http://support.biblioscape.com/node/1863. I have never been able to make direct export work with Internet Explorer (oddly enough), although I now have it working perfectly with Opera (my normal browser) and Firefox.
There are also some settings within Biblioscape for Internet Explorer and Firefox. Go to Tools / Options/ Import-Export and click the buttons for "Associate with" for Internet Explorer and Firefox (as opposed to associate with End Note).
