solution for this issue?

Hi Paul,
Probably this is a functional issue -

Say, I do online search with Pubmed. It brings about few articles with unique ref ID (930-940). I add 938 to references database. I do online search again, fortunately one of the reference is already within the online search that I did before, say it was 931. When I add this 931 to my references database, it puts the reference at 931 which is few references down from 938 sorted descending.

I didn't know this as I assumed when I do a search and add references, it puts it at the last place in the database. I was wrongly assigning pdf articles to the references.

I am wondering is it possible to highlight or activate (atu the last added reference in preview list panel (automatically)? so that I will know which one got added last?

thanks

drb, when you do the online

drb, when you do the online search the second time, Biblioscape will not import the reference that was already imported in your last search to prevent creating duplicates. That is why that record has a smaller ID number. Thanks, Paul

yes..but

Hi Paul,
Yes. I understand that. Sorry didn't make it quite clear.

When I import that reference into database, it is not added at the last of the references as the ID is lower (931) than the last imported reference (938) to database - folder (not online searches).

And moreover, last added reference is not highlighted in the preview panel, hence one has to remember and look for the reference to make any changes.

I am wondering, if by default, can the last added (imported) reference into folder (not online searches folder) be highlighted?

It cannot be automatically

It cannot be automatically hilighted. Before moving it, can mark it (Ctrl+M). Then when you go to that folder, you can quickly find the records you just moved.
