Problem printing and saving a bibliography

I am having problems printing a bibliography. Biblioscape insists on priinting to my USB printer, regardless of which printer is set as my default printer. If I disconnect the USB printer, the bibliography export page just sits there and does nothing.

If I save the bibliography as a file, the hanging indents are lost. I was tryiing to get around this problem by printing to a pdf generating virtual printer, which is when I also ran into the problem described above.

There is a provision to setup the printer, but the only selections are changing margins and page orientation. There is no provsion for selecting a different printer.

Am I missing something about how to do these things (1. preserving formatting when saving to file, and 2. selecting a different printer)?

------- FOLLOW UP ----

I got the bibliography to print to my pdf generator, but had to close and restart Biblioscape in order for Biblioscape to recognize that I had changed that to be my default printer. It seems to me that the program should check at the time "print" button is clicked, to see which printer is the default rather than collecting that information at the time the program is loaded.

List index out of bounds (2)

When I try to use "Print Bibliography", I get a "List index out of bounds (2)" error. Paul can't reproduce this. Does anyone else experience similar problems?
Thanks, Volker

I get the same error when I try to "Print Biography" from both File | Print Bibliography or by using the printer icon.

The problem could be caused

The problem could be caused by custom reference types that is no in the correct format. Are there any records of custom reference types selected? You can select a few records of "Journal Article" type and see if you can reproduce the bug. Custom references type files cannot be copied from an earlier version of Biblioscape to the new version.
