Import Dewey Decimal Classification as categories

Does anyone know whether is possible to import Dewey Decimal Classification system as categories into Biblioscape. I mean, it would be clever to have such set of categories as default in the categories module. I do NOT mean the entire classification sytem, but just the first two levels perhaps. Alternatively, what else could be done in terms of default category sets? I'm hoping something along this lines can be accomplished in the next major release. Is this expectation realistic?

Thank you.

I found the Dewey Decimal

I found the Dewey Decimal Classification file on the Web. Do you just want the numbers or the number plus the text. Some field like "190 Modern Western philosophy (19th-century, 20th-century)" has more than 40 characters. You need to use the DBSYS.exe under "Tools" folder to increase the field length of "Category" in the category table.

Biblioscape supports the

Biblioscape supports the import into the categories module from many different formats. You can email me the Dewey Decimal Classification file. I will see how to import the file. Paul (support@biblioscape.com)

Excellent. I'll get back to

Excellent. I'll get back to you on that. I think it might work better if I download Dewey decimal system (it can be the one you found), edit the data to shrink the length of the text of each entry, and then resubmit the edited file to you to import into categories module. What is the address of the Dewey decimal classification file that you found? Can I download it?
