Project Tree

Hi Paul, I very much enjoy the Project Filters feature. Still, I'd like to suggest an improvement: On selecting a filter, I don't want to have all items displayed that match the condition. Can you introduce a buttom "show parent folders/collections only"?
Thanks, Volker

All the filters can be

All the filters can be edited. You can also create new filters.

What do you mean parent folders? Who's parent folder?

Thanks,
Paul

all childs of a certain type

Hi Paul,
to me more precise: I would like to display all folders of a certain type that are stored within a certain collection.
Thanks, Volker

To create such a filter, you

To create such a filter, you need to condition:
1. Certain type: This is easy. Just add a "Fld_type" condition, set it to "is (exactly)", and type "References" or "Notes", etc.
2. Within certain collection: This is harder. First go to all those collections and select "Properties". Check the "Mark" box and mark them Red. Then in the filter box, add a new condition. Select the field "Fld_mark", set it to "is (exactly)", and type "R".

very good point

Hi Paul, very good point. I used "Description" instead, which works beautifully.
Still, I'd find it helpful to have these two options:
1) To filter for "Folder or Collection within a given Folder or Collection".
2) To have a buttom next to the "actions" buttom to "clean up" the display in the folder tree so that all folders and collections are closed and only the parent collections on the very left are visible - but with their plus-signs, so I can easily navigate.
Thanks, Volker

parent folders

Hi Paul, with parent folders I mean those items on the very left.
Thanks, Volker

If you go to "File | Project

If you go to "File | Project | Project Filters", you can create a new filter or edit an existing one. If you select the field "Parent" and set the condition to "-1". Then only the top level folders will be displayed.
