I am finding that if I go back to a note to do some editing on a marked block of text (like change the font), the block highlighting seems to remain stuck on, with no further editing possible. I finally discovered by accident that if I quickly double-click to place the cursor where I want to edit next, instead of using a single click, then the highlighting turns off and I can prodeed.

So, it seems there is an error that prevents a single click from performing its normal action.
