Dear Paul,
I have run into some difficulty with the card catalog at my school. http://library.tufts.edu
Once I have a list of references selected, I have four choices. I can view a full record, view a brief record, view an Endnote record, or view a MARC record. (I can also receive a plaintext email in any of these formats.)
There is a problem with each of these formats.
The full record contains information like the publisher, year, and keywords, but not in a properly tagged format that Biblioscape can read. The brief record does not contain full information. The Endnote record is only brief information, and omits critical fields such as reference type, publisher, etc.
Biblioscape, as you have been explaining since 1999, does not have a MARC filter.
My library's full record display format is Innovative.
In an earlier post, you recommended users create filters for MARC or other formats. I did not find instructions for that in the manual or the documentation.
I am about to embark on a dissertation and I need to have full information from the card catalog transferred to Biblioscape. Can you please help me figure out a way to do that efficiently.
Thanks,
Ben

The default display is in a tagged format. You can create an import filter for it.
