I'm just getting to know v.8 and am very impressed with it. Biblioscape was always a program with tremendous promise, and it now seems to be realizing that potential in spades.
Nonetheless, and despite the quite helpful manual, I do find myself a bit overwhelmed by all the choices it provides. I'd love for folks to discuss here how they are using v.8, the new uses they are finding for it, etc.
I'm having some trouble deciding just how to differentiate among folders, categories, and all the other ways that references can be classified and sorted.

I will use folders just for projects. When I need to organize references by other dimensions, I will use categories. For notes, the notes ordering may be important. If that is the case, I will use collections which allows notes to have a different ordering from their ordering in a folder.

Thank you, Paul, for explaining how you use Biblioscape. The program offers so many possibilities that I expect people will come up with all kinds of ways of using it. I would love to see a wide-ranging discussion here on the discoveries folks have made that are not obvious on the face of it.
