Problem with latest? Bib8

I just downloaded the latest Bib8 beta. IT was about 24 megs in size, much bigger than the earlier versions. Has there been a big addition.
I installed it and it seemed to work OK until I tried to delete a record. It would not let me and gave me an error message (which I didn't write down) but basically said the index was corrupted somehow. I decided to rebuild the database. When I did this, it hung the system. If I did a global rebuild, there was no problem, but it hung whenever I tried to rebuild the database. It rebuilt the first two files (alphabetical order of files) and then hung.

I then reinstalled an older version of Bib8 and the program would not open the database. It would open the sample OK but not mine.
I copied a slightly older version of the database (yesterdays) and used it and it works OK.

SO:
1. lesson learned. Back up the database before installing a new Beta version. It didn't cost me much, but it did cost a couple of hours of work.
2. What has been added to the latest Bib8.
3. What likely is going on.

Many thanks.
Don

The size increase is caused

The size increase is caused by the new online help file which is about 7 meg by itself. Please zip all the files under your database folder. I will see if I can fix the database. Paul support@biblioscape.com

Paul Now it has happened

Paul
Now it has happened with an earlier version. It was all working well until I clicked on a citation and I got an error message.
DBISAM Engine Error #8965 Index page buffers corrupt in the table 'bib'

I tried to rebuild the database but it hung.
So I installed a different version of Bib8 beta (IT sure would help if you would put Version numbers on these Betas) and got the message below.

DBISAM Engine Error #9217 Error reading from the table
'C:\Biblioscape 8\Data7\General REferences\bib.idx"

evaluation edition 3831788448

Access violation at address 00B7C192 in module Biblioscape.exe. REad of address 000000000

So now nothing works. THIS IS NOT GOOD. I will zip and send.

The index of the reference

The index of the reference table is corrupt. I have emailed you the fixed reference table. Paul
