When I edit the text in the abstract or memo fields, I tend to use Ctrl-Arrow (right or left) to move one word to the right or left. This is the default for most text editors and word processors. In Bib8, using Ctrl-Arrow moves the RECORD up or down, so all of a sudden I am editing a totally different record. This is a poor default action and could it be corrected so that:
a) moving the arrow by itself moves the cursor to the right or left by one character. This is the current default for Bib8
b) using Ctrl-Arrow moves the cursor to the right or left by one word.
All cursor actions should be kept within the active editing window.
Thanks

In v8 final release, the Ctrl+Left and Ctrl+Right will not be used. So the default editor shortcuts will work. Thanks, Paul

Is it possible to make 'Ctr+C' available in the "Related" window too? We usually use this to copy some selected text.

It would be nice to see this REALLY SOON. I just wrote a note for about 20 minutes and forgot and used the Ctrl-Left arrow and wiped the whole damn thing out. It is really gone. I can find the note (as in its title, but there is NO text.) THis just is not acceptable. Until then, the notes, and composition parts are useless to me.

Absolutely. This should be
Absolutely. This should be a default that has to be overridden when setting up the program. Most people would then leave it alone and be happy they got the prompt.
