Function Request: More Intelligent Case Conversion

Any chance the next update could have a more intelligent case conversion that:
1) converts the first letter within parenthesis to the intended case
2) converts the first letter within quotation marks to the intended case
3) converts the first letter after a colon to the intended case, even if it is the first letter of a word on the list of "words not to be changed during case conversion" (For example, I want titles like, "biblioscape: a useful program" to be converted to "Biblioscape: A Useful Program" and certainly never converted from "Biblioscape: A Useful Program" to "Biblioscape: a Useful Program".)

Similarly, please create a more intelligent use of the list of "words not to be changed during case conversion" that:
1) retains the case of the strings in the list even when a listed string is within parenthesis
2) retains the case of the strings in the list even when a listed string is within quotation marks

For example, applying a title case conversion to a field containing DNA when DNA is in the list of "words not to be changed during case conversion" currently leaves DNA unchanged, but if (DNA) is in the field, it is changed to (dna).

Thanks,
Ben

Is this related to "Tools |

Is this related to "Tools | Utility | Global Edit..." or the case conversion in an output style? Which version of Biblioscape do you have installed? Thanks.

Re: Is this related to "Tools |...

Paul,

My note is referring to a case conversion performed during import via the "Replace or Remove" section of a custom EndNote import filter I've created (and which I will send to you for inspection), but the process does seem to use the list of "words not to be changed during case conversion" found within the Tools | Utility | Global Edit... function.

Thanks,
Ben
