Hi Paul,
I've been busy formatting my dissertation and have run into a problem that I can't figure out about how to make the Chicago Notes Style work properly for me. For repeated citation, biblioscape handles them find as long as I use Ibid. for consecutive citations of the same source. I have been trying to adjust my version of Chicago 15th notes so that all subsequent references to a source will be give as the short form For example--Rodgers, Atlantic Crossings, 23--instead of--Ibid., 23. This is an accepted usage for the Chicago Style, but I can figure out how to make it happen. When I go to the repeated Citations tab and press "no special handling" I get the publication information, when I press "omit repeated data" I get nothing at all in place of the citation. I have been fooling mostly with the book reference type, I'm not sure if the behavior is the same for other reference types. I hope this makes sense.
Thanks,
Matt
Matt, this is a bug. It will
Matt, this is a bug. It will be fixed in the next patch release. So when "No special handling" is checked, short form will be used for consecutive reference in the footnote if short form box is checked. Thanks.
