I need to change the formatting of many references, and I already have developed my own styles. The only way I know how to apply it is by going through each reference individualy, which is time consuming. Is there a way to change it by selecting many references at once? Let me give an example: many references are formatted as "Book" but I need to change them to "Book section", how to do it efficiently when lots of references need to be changed?
Also, when you have an open reference, is there a keyboard shortcut to go to the next/previous one?
To change reference types,
To change reference types, please select those references first. Then go to "Edit | Replace". Limit the changes to field "Reference Type". Then replace "Book" to "Book Section". Or you can go to "Tools | Utility | Global Edit", select field "Reference Type", choose "Replace the whole field with" option, and enter "Book Section" before clicking the "Change" button. In the next patch release, shortcut Ctrl+Left will be assigned to Previous, and Ctrl+Right will be assigned to Next. Thanks, Paul
