Long date form for Newspaper references in Chicago 15th notes

I would like to get the date to look like this: "April 4, 1950" BS gives me "April4", that is, without a space between them. I don't think I can adjust this in the style editor. Am I wrong.

I was referring to the combobox in the style editor date window. You can click on the "Long Date" tab to find it.
