In languages other than English, in which pronouns are different for male and female authors, one would need a solution for handling those gender related issues. I suppose it's a rather complex task, but I would like to draw your attention to it anyway.

This can be made possible if the user specifies the gender of the reference. We can then add feature to the style editor to make some text gender dependent. This approach can be used to support language dependent cases too. But Biblioscape cannot figure out the gender of a name. So users have to enter that info in a field. I am not sure how much work will such a feature save.
Well, right now I set
Well, right now I set "ders." as standard and in the formatted text I search for "ders." and check, if it's a female author and I have to change it to "dies." In BS, I could easily search for female first names (e.g. "Maria") and flag those entries female. On the long run, this will save quite some time, but of course it will make the output style editor more complicated.
