As I understand it adding or creating notes in the composition modul merely adds a link to a note which resides in the notes modul. Every change in the composition modul is written to the original note.
I wonder whether it is possible to unlink the notes in the composition modul from the original note. For example, when I am writing an overview on recent case law, I would like to begin with copying several (lenghty) case notes into the composition modul. I would then like to shorten and rewrite them in order to adapt them to the logic of the review (the "composition") but without losing the content of the original notes. Is there a way to do that? Thanks.

Lars, this problem can be best solved by notes versioning. We plan to add that feature in the next major release.
