Composition: chapters

In Composition module, I don't quite understand the intended use of chapters. In the outline, I can create a note of the type "chapter" and later assign that to references listed in the suggested reading list. In suggested reading, I can also crete chapters, which afterwards I can't find anywhere else. Also - what happens to the note type "chapter", when I re-arrange notes in the outline, so that a chapter might become a section or just a parahraph?
Thanks, Volker

Volker, I am not sure about

Volker, I am not sure about this one. The note type is not used when building the outline and table of contents. So I think the types "Book Chapter", "Book Part", etc. should be removed. As you said, users may rearrange notes and the outline should decide which note is at the chapter level. Asking users to manually add chapter name is also not a good idea. May be we can find a better solution later. For example, just let user pick which level in the outline should be considered a chapter and then assign cited references to chapter dynamically when needed.

excellent

To change the type dynamically sounds like an excellent idea.
Let me add, that for complex tasks like dealing with categories on a higher level or using the composition module, a more detailed tutorial would be appreciated. I don't know how other users feel about that, but I have the suspicion, BS is far more powerful than I can actually can make use of it. Also, as I had mentioned some time before: To have the Book pages available as offline help files would be a great help, since I often work in an envorinmont with no internet access.
Thanks a lot, Volker
