Hi Paul.
About a month ago I uploaded the new Biblioscape Professional to my new laptop. The initial installation was successful. Then I tried to move my customized files to replace those in the file structure. This is when I got the List Index Out of Bounds (-1) error message. Since I did them all at once I do not know which one caused the error. I have the latest version 7.31
I have uploaded my database to the following link http://www.christopherking.net/database/
In that link is the database itself. The subfolders are the cusomized files. If you could help me on this I would appreciate it. After today my email will be spotting for a bit as I am leaving for Iraq. I will have off and on contact though.
Sincerely,
Christopher King, Ph.D.
Christopher, Is there a way
Christopher, Is there a way to save a bunch of files at once? So I don't have to save one file at a time. Or could you create a zip file for me to download. Thanks. My guess is the "Reftypes" folder files caused the problem. I assume you upgraded from version 6. Thanks.
I created a zip file called
I created a zip file called bib.zip at http://www.christopherking.net/database/
Christopher
Christopher, the database
Christopher, the database itself has no problem. I do not get any error message while using it. I guess the problem is caused by the files under "Reftypes" folder. There are field name changes in versioin 7. If you copy version 6 customization over, it will not work. Please delete all the files under "Reftypes" folder and replace it with versioni 7 files and see if that can fix the problem. If there is a "Reftypes" folder under your database folder, change that too.
Thanks Paul. Would you
Thanks Paul. Would you please email me those reftypes files I need. I was dumb enough to overwrite the v7 files without keeping a backup.

Christopher, I have emails
Christopher, I have emails you the reftypes files. Paul
I had the same problem
I had the same error message, and the solution was just what Paul said - a customised V6 reference type grid, which didn't work in V7.
