The following features are added in BiblioExpress version 3:
- The memory based database engine used in version 2 is replaced by the database engine used in Biblioscape.
- The Glance view is replaced by "Dynamic Folder" where user can build complicated queries and save them in a tree structure.
- A full text search "Fast Search" is added. Wildcard is supported in search terms. Fast Search will return almost instant results even when your database becomes large.
- The old reference editor is replaced by the same reference editor used in Biblioscape. Fields labels will now change according to the reference type.
- User can shoot the selected reference into Word or WordPerfect and automatically generate footnote or endnote.
