Import patent abstracts from excel using wizard

I am trying to import patent references from excel into Biblioscape 7, but I can not find out where to select the reference type "patents". As a result I cannot assign specific patent fields because these are not shown in the field mapping table (e.g. assignee, patent nr etc).

In the field mapping it is possible to manually write "patents"in the ref_type field, however this is not imported and does not give you options to assign assignees etc.

Is it possible to import patent references from Excel and if yes, how to set the patents reference type.

Jurriann, In Biblioscape,

Jurriann, In Biblioscape, please go to "Tools | Options" window "Reference Types" tab. You can see how fields in Patent type is mapped to the table fields. You can add a column in Excel and label it "Reference Type". Then add "Patent" to all records in there using drag. Then map this column to "Reference Types" field with the wizard. Thanks.
