Paul,
I need to reference/cite several papers authored by institutions. I want to cite the institution's full name and acronym/initialism the first time (eg. International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), 2005), but use only the abbreviation for subsequent citations (eg. ICAO, 2005).
Is this possible with BS7.27?
Sorry, this is not supported
Sorry, this is not supported in Biblioscape. Is this a requirement of a style?
Corporate authors
Paul,
APA style requires a source written by a group, association, government agency, institution, or corporate author to be cited in-full the first time, and cited by its acronym for subsequent references.

This feature is hard to support
APA specifies to use full name in most cases. Use abbreviated form only for names that can be easily understood. There is no separate field for acronym of corporate author. So the authors field has to be used in the form: Full name (acronym). In the style editor, we have to add an option to use acronym for coporate author for subsequent citations. But, in the reference list section, the acronym may not be wanted there. We decided not to add this feature. Thanks.
