I had a folder called My Writing and a category with the same name. I decided that it would be best to keep these references in a linked folder. So, I created a linked folder with the same name and dragged the references there. Then, I deleted the original, non-link folder. Without warning (!!!) all the references were also deleted. I am not sure this is good. At least the user needs a warning (I could not have noticed). Also, does it mean that folders also cannot have identical names similar to categories? I find this very counterintuitive!
In addition, can we have an option to better distinguish between types of folders. E.g. by choosing different-colour icons.
Thanks.
Before folder deletion,
Before folder deletion, Biblioscape does prompt user. You can go to the Recycle bin to restore the deleted folder. There is no limitation on folder name. It can have the same name as a category. The last column in folder tree indicate if the folder is a virtual folder (search folder with a magnifying glass, link folder with a chain). Thanks.
