I have noticed recently that the File As: label seemed to be missing from some recently incorporated references. So I checked back through a Cntl-R list and found that every reference entered into the database since 20 August 2007 did not have a File As: label. I checked options and found that the Auto update File as: box was unchecked. I checked it and rebuilt the database, but no change to File as: for these several hundred most recently entered references. Is this a serious problem and if so what to do about it?

That box is only for new references. For exsting ones, please click the button "Update File As field" on Options window Database tab.
